Member of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Pasuruan Regency, Nik Sugiharti, held a recess event for the third session of 2025/2026 with the community of Bangil District. In the meeting, the politician, who also serves as the Chair of the DPD Golkar Party of Pasuruan Regency, gathered various important inputs regarding regional development programs that directly affect the needs of the residents.
Nik Sugiharti invited the community to actively support and monitor the implementation of infrastructure projects in Bangil, which is currently being prepared to represent the capital of Pasuruan Regency, famously nicknamed the "Kota Santri" (City of Islamic Students). According to her, public participation in monitoring is crucial to ensure that development outcomes are optimal and accountable.
In addition to physical infrastructure issues, attending residents also highlighted the sports sector, particularly futsal. Toyib, one of the community representatives, expressed hope that the local government would pay more attention to the development of local futsal athletes. Moreover, Pasuruan Regency is considered to have national-level coaching potential ready to foster talented young achievers.
The health service sector was also a primary focus in the dialogue. Residents complained about several administrative and regulatory obstacles in the field, which they felt still hindered the optimization of public health services, even though the handling frameworks from the local government are actually already in place.
Responding to these aspirations, the legislator, warmly known as Mbak Nik, committed to bringing all resident input to the legislative table. She promised to escort and discuss these proposals in working meetings with the executive branch and relevant departments in the Pasuruan Regency DPRD to quickly find concrete solutions.
