The Academic and Student Culture Introduction (PBAK) committee of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a coordination meeting to finalize preparations for welcoming new students for the 2026 academic year. The meeting, which took place in the Meeting Room of Vice Rector 3 in the Student Affairs Building, focused on discussing technical guidelines, logistical readiness, logo selection, and the curation of speakers who will fill the event on August 26–27, 2026.

This year, PBAK UIN Jakarta carries the grand theme "Tech-Smart, Eco-Wise – Realizing the ulul albab generation for nation's civilization". Through the twin digital and green (digital green) concept, this hybrid-designed orientation activity aims to instill technological awareness as well as environmental concern in new students from the very beginning of their university life.

The coordination meeting was attended by student affairs leadership, including the Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., as well as the Vice Deans for Student Affairs from various faculties. In addition to agreeing on Islamic and polite dress codes, the committee requires participants to bring personal supplies such as reusable water bottles (tumblers), umbrellas, and masks to support the eco-friendly movement and maintain peak physical condition.

During the two days of implementation, new students will be introduced to various essential campus service units and equipped with material from five to six competent speakers. National figures, digital practitioners, and relevant environmental activists are intentionally brought in to provide deep insights regarding the integration of modern technology and nature conservation.

The Head of the Student Affairs and Alumni Team, Muhammad Furqon, M.A., emphasized that internal coordination will be intensified up to twice a week to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly. Meanwhile, the Steering Committee of PBAK 2026, Dr. Aktobi Ghozali, M.A., hopes that this activity can inspire new students to become a resilient future generation that makes real contributions towards Golden Indonesia 2045.
