Krista Exhibitions is once again hosting a large-scale graphic arts industry exhibition, the Surabaya Printing Expo (SPE) 2026, which officially opened at the Grand City Convention Center, Surabaya. Now in its 19th year, the event is projected to be the main driving force for the printing industry ecosystem in Eastern Indonesia over four days, from July 8 to 11, 2026.
CEO of Krista Exhibitions, Daud D. Salim, emphasized East Java's strategic role as a trade hub with strong support for the manufacturing, advertising, and creative economy sectors. According to him, the expo is not merely a technology showcase, but a catalyst to accelerate digital adoption aimed at enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of local businesses on both national and global stages.
This year's edition is even larger, featuring over 150 exhibitors, including 10 MSME players. Organizers target an attendance of 15,000 visitors who will gain firsthand experience seeing demonstrations of the latest technologies, ranging from conventional offset presses and 3D printing technology to advanced, cost-effective web-based printing systems.
In addition to product exhibitions, SPE 2026 presents an in-depth educational series through various seminars and workshops. One of the main highlights is a discussion on the integration of Artificial Intelligence into the creative design process, as well as brand strengthening strategies for MSMEs through product packaging innovation. This initiative is expected to open up broad collaboration opportunities for designers, industry practitioners, and business owners in responding to future market challenges.
