The padel sports trend is now closer to the residents of Tangerang City with the inauguration of Metropolis Padel Court on the 3rd floor of Metropolis Town Square on Saturday (1/8/2026). This premium indoor sports facility is present to facilitate sports needs while also serving as a new social space for local residents.
Standing on an area of more than 2,000 square meters, this arena provides four indoor padel courts built to international standards. The modern design is intentionally prepared to make this facility friendly for various groups, ranging from beginners who are just trying the sport to professional athletes.
Mall Director of Metropolis Town Square, Ferdinand Narayana, explained that the presence of this sports arena is part of an effort to transform the shopping center into an integrated lifestyle hub. He hopes this new facility can build a more active sports ecosystem and strengthen community bonds in Tangerang.
Not only offering sports courts, Metropolis Padel Court is also equipped with a spacious and comfortable social lobby for gathering. In the future, the management plans to complete this area with a cafe, an exclusive lounge, a children's playground, and a family entertainment area.
For its operations, the court rental rates start from IDR 150,000 per hour on weekdays (06.00-16.00 WIB) and IDR 250,000 per hour for afternoons to evenings, as well as weekends. People who want to book a court can easily access it through the AYO sports reservation application.
