KOTABARU - In an effort to strengthen national spirit and love for the country, the Tourism, Youth, and Sports Department (Disparpora) of Kotabaru Regency has implemented a new routine in their workplace. Every working day at exactly 09:00 AM WITA, all staff in the Sports Division are required to stand together to sing the national anthem "Indonesia Raya" and the "Sports Patriot March."
This initiative was launched as a way to strengthen character and nationalism among public servants. The Head of the Sports Division of Kotabaru Disparpora, Shadiqul Amin, S.Sos., MA., explained that this routine is expected to inject positive energy and high dedication into employees before they perform their daily service duties.
In addition to fostering patriotism, this practice also aims to align sports values—which uphold sportsmanship and discipline—within the government working environment of Kotabaru Regency.
