The Junior Attorney General for Extraordinary Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office, Febrie Adriansyah, has officially provided clarification following widespread reports regarding the searches conducted by the National Police's Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas Tipikor). The legal action targeted the de'Clan cafe in Cipete, South Jakarta, as well as Febrie's private residence in Sentul, Bogor, on Friday (10/7/2026).
In his statement, Febrie strongly dismissed speculation circulating on social media regarding his involvement in the operations or ownership of the culinary business in the Cipete area. He emphasized that he would await the official results of the police investigation to prove that he has no business ties as alleged by the public.
Regarding the search of his residence in Sentul, Febrie admitted that the property indeed belongs to him and has been owned for a long time. He emphasized that all building assets and the origin of the cash found at the location can be legally accounted for and will be explained through transparent judicial procedures, not through public opinion.
Responding to the discovery of a fantastic amount of cash reaching hundreds of billions of rupiah, Febrie stated his readiness to follow all stages of the legal process. He ensured that data regarding the legality of asset ownership and the source of the funds would be proven during further investigation processes in accordance with the applicable legal framework.
For information, the National Police's Kortas Tipikor was previously reported to have seized a significant amount of cash, consisting of rupiah currency conversion reaching billions, as part of a clean-up operation in three corruption cases currently undergoing deep investigation.
