The Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM) successfully organized an industrial visit to PT YKK Indonesia on July 8–9, 2026. This activity is part of the experiential learning method designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and operational realities in the international manufacturing industry.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to directly observe various crucial aspects at PT YKK Indonesia, ranging from the corporate philosophy 'Cycle of Goodness', quality control systems, to technology adaptation strategies in facing digital transformation. Direct interaction with industry practitioners provided students with deep insights into the importance of occupational health and safety (OHS/K3) and production efficiency applied in a professional environment.
Head of the FEB UNM Management Study Program, Instianti Elyana, stated that this initiative is vital in building the competitiveness of graduates. According to her, field experience allows students to comprehensively understand professional demands and business dynamics, serving as essential capital for them to adapt to an increasingly competitive labor market.
In addition to strengthening student competence, this collaboration represents a strategic step by the university to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in quality education, economic growth, and industrial innovation. This visit reinforces Universitas Nusa Mandiri's position as a Digital Business Campus that continuously strives to build sustainable synergy with the industrial sector to produce an adaptive and job-ready workforce.
