The Banjarbaru City Government has taken a progressive step in advancing the regional health sector through a strategic collaboration with the National Central General Hospital (RSUPN) Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) Jakarta. The formal agreement, in the form of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing, was held at RSD Idaman Banjarbaru on Friday (3/7/2026).
This partnership covers various crucial aspects, ranging from enhancing the competence of medical personnel and educational research to strengthening hospital governance. Furthermore, both parties will focus on integrating health information technology and telemedicine systems to accelerate and facilitate access to services for local communities.
The management of RSD Idaman emphasized that this transformation step is an adaptation by the hospital to the rapid development of medical technology. It is hoped that this collaboration will propel RSD Idaman to become a more modern, innovative, and patient-centered referral center.
The President Director of RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo, Dr. dr. Supriyanto, Sp.B., FInaCS., M.Kes., welcomed this initiative. According to him, this cooperation serves as a platform for mutual learning to strengthen clinical governance, so that healthcare service standards at the regional level can improve significantly and equitably.
