PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) successfully recorded significant financial achievements throughout the first half of 2026. According to the company's report, the company's net profit soared by 253% to Rp8.51 trillion compared to the same period in the previous year. This growth is aligned with a 51% increase in revenue, which reached Rp59.67 trillion, as well as a 140% increase in EBITDA to Rp14.28 trillion.
President Director of PT Pupuk Indonesia, Rahmad Pribadi, explained that this achievement is the fruit of the company's consistency in executing its business transformation agenda, particularly through the implementation of operational excellence and cost efficiency. This step was taken in response to global commodity price dynamics and is aligned with the government's vision under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto regarding food security.
Strategic support from Danantara Indonesia is considered an important catalyst that accelerated the strengthening of governance and transformation within Pupuk Indonesia. Rahmad emphasized that this increasingly solid financial foundation allows the company to continue increasing its tangible contribution to farmers and supporting national food security in a sustainable manner.
Looking ahead, the company has prepared a strategic roadmap for the next five years, which includes the revitalization of seven factory units and business diversification into the methanol and clean ammonia sectors. In addition, the realization of subsidized fertilizer distribution as of mid-July 2026 reached 5.13 million tons, reflecting the company's commitment to facilitating supply distribution for the domestic agricultural sector.
With a production capacity reaching 14.8 million tons per year, PT Pupuk Indonesia is optimistic about maintaining its business growth momentum while strengthening competitiveness in both domestic and international markets through sustainable asset optimization.
