PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk. (BJTM) has successfully solidified its position as a leading financial institution by winning an award at the Bisnis Indonesia Awards (BIA) 2026. At the award ceremony held at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta, on Thursday (2/7/2026), Bank Jatim was named the winner in the Regional Development Bank (BPD) category for banks with assets over Rp40 trillion.

This award was presented based on a rigorous assessment of the company's financial performance throughout the 2023 to 2025 period. The panel of judges, led by senior economist Raden Pardede, assessed that financial resilience was the key differentiator that set Bank Jatim apart from its competitors in the same category.

Over the past three years, Bank Jatim has demonstrated solid performance. On a consolidated basis, the company's net profit in 2025 surged by 24.8% (YoY) to Rp1.62 trillion. Asset expansion also showed impressive figures with a growth of 42.93%, driven by strong synergy within the Banking Group (KUB), in which Bank Jatim acts as the parent company.

In addition to its financial success, Bank Jatim continues to aggressively pursue digital transformation. The JConnect Mobile service recorded nearly one million users, with transaction values reaching Rp65.77 trillion. A 47.25% growth in QRIS transactions further highlights the company's success in accelerating the digital banking ecosystem.

Moving forward, Bank Jatim is committed to strengthening the company's foundation through five transformation pillars: improving corporate governance, risk management, optimizing ecosystem-based business, developing human resource competency, and accelerating business digitalization. This strategic step is expected to maintain the bank's growth momentum amid the dynamics of the national banking industry.
