Creating a healthy and fit East Kalimantan society cannot be the sole responsibility of the regional government. It requires the active role of various community sports organizations to get directly involved on the ground and initiate sustainable sports activities.

Acting Head of the East Kalimantan Youth and Sports Department (Dispora), Rasman Rading, emphasized that the existence of sports organizations must bring a real impact. According to him, an organization must not merely exist administratively, but is obliged to be a driving force for an active lifestyle in society.

Rasman explained that strategic collaboration between the government and the sports community is crucial in building new habits. Through various consistently held activities, it is hoped that the community will gradually make sports a basic necessity rather than just a leisure activity.

In addition to action on the ground, Dispora Kaltim also highlighted the importance of internal reform within organizations, particularly regarding management regeneration. Periodic changes in leadership are considered crucial to bring about fresh ideas and program innovations capable of embracing greater public participation.

With dynamic management and adaptive work programs, sports organizations in East Kalimantan are expected not only to improve public health standards but also to lay a strong foundation for identifying and nurturing potential high-achieving athletes from an early age.
