Facing increasingly fierce market competition, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are required to continuously innovate. In response to this, Shopee has established a strategic partnership with logistics company SiCepat to hold digital business training specifically aimed at local business players.
The event, which took place at the SiCepat headquarters in South Jakarta, was attended by dozens of members of the SiCepat Seller Community. The training materials were delivered directly by instructors from the Shopee MSME Campus (Kampus UMKM Shopee) who possess official certification from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), ensuring that the quality of the materials provided is both practical and professional.
The main focus of this training was to equip participants with techniques to maximize sales potential during major campaign periods, such as National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas) and double-date promotions. Participants were also taught how to optimize advertising features and promotional strategies so that product visibility on the marketplace platform can increase significantly.
Director of Business Partnership at Shopee Indonesia, Daniel Minardi, stated that this collaboration is a concrete step to help MSMEs seize opportunities in digital economic growth. He hopes that these applicable strategies can serve as tools for merchants to strengthen their brand position in a dynamic market.
Echoing this sentiment, Commercial & External Affairs Director of SiCepat, Imam Sedayu, emphasized the importance of this synergy in increasing the capacity and store performance of business players. According to him, the ability to utilize promotional features appropriately is the key to winning business competition in the digital era.
For information, this program is part of the Shopee MSME Campus Online Class initiative, which allows business players from various regions across Indonesia to access business training flexibly. Since its launch in 2021, this program has assisted millions of MSMEs through hundreds of thousands of training hours and provided comprehensive learning modules.
One of the participants, Alfa Hermawan from the brand Wearing Klamby, shared positive feedback regarding the effectiveness of the materials provided. According to him, new insights on ad optimization and preparation for handling demand surges during a "Big Campaign" are crucial, considering the potential sales increase can reach up to 40 percent compared to regular days.
