Jakarta – The Ministry of Creative Economy (Kemenekraf) expressed high appreciation for the integration between the entertainment industry and the digital finance sector, as reflected in the Allo Bank Festival 2026 event. Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, emphasized that this cross-sector collaboration is a crucial step in strengthening the commercial infrastructure of the music industry in Indonesia.
During her visit to the Indonesia Arena on Saturday (20/6), Irene Umar highlighted how digital innovation can create a more inclusive audience experience while opening up new economic opportunities for musicians and other supporting businesses. According to her, this synergy is not merely a trend, but a new engine of economic growth capable of massively expanding market access.
In addition to reviewing technological aspects, Irene stressed the importance of standardization in managing large-scale music festivals. She hopes that events like the Allo Bank Festival can serve as a benchmark for professionalism, ranging from stage management to the sustainable downstreaming of creative products, to ensure the welfare and protection of art workers.
The Allo Bank Festival itself has evolved into an 'all-in-one' music festival capable of attracting tens of thousands of visitors. By combining multi-genre music concerts—from local pop to K-pop groups—as well as empowering dozens of MSME booths, this festival demonstrates great potential in absorbing labor and creating significant economic added value for the local community.
Kemenekraf remains committed to encouraging the creation of a healthy and globally competitive creative economy ecosystem. Through the integration of the performing arts sector, technology, and financial services, the government hopes the creative sector will become increasingly resilient as one of the main pillars driving national economic growth in the future.
