The Muhammadiyah Business Association (SUMU), through the SUMU Catalyst program, has once again strengthened the capacity of local entrepreneurs by holding a webinar series titled \"Build a Precious Metals Business with SilverMu & EmasMu: From Dealer to Your Own Brand.\" This event serves as a strategic forum for MSMEs and the business community to understand the dynamics of the precious metals industry, which is now increasingly open to various business scales.
President Director of PT Putra Surya Yogyakarta, Achmad Zani, as the main speaker, explained that people no longer need to be hindered by large capital or the lack of production facilities to enter the precious metals industry. Through the EmasMu and SilverMu ecosystems, business actors are now given easy access ranging from agency systems to contract manufacturing services to build their own brands.
Furthermore, Zani explained that the market potential for precious metals in Indonesia remains very vast. The main challenge lies in accessibility. EmasMu and SilverMu serve as a bridge that allows entrepreneurs to start a business efficiently, with full support in brand development, licensing, and formulating adaptive marketing strategies in the digital era.
This webinar explored five main business models: dealer partnerships, bundling programs, product rebranding strategies, contract manufacturing services, and integrated mentoring to build an independent-scale precious metals company. All of these stages are designed to be inclusive, making human resource and technical mentoring the keys to business sustainability for the participants.
The organization of this event reflects SUMU Catalyst's ongoing commitment to creating a collaborative space between business actors and industry practitioners. It is hoped that this step will encourage the birth of more highly competitive precious metals entrepreneurs who can make a real contribution to strengthening the national economy.
