The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Islam Nahdlatul Ulama (UNISNU) Jepara is once again strengthening its role in nurturing creative young entrepreneurs. A total of 56 tenant groups, comprising students from the Management, Accounting, and Islamic Economics study programs, underwent a business curation phase as a strategic step prior to showcasing at the Business Bazaar scheduled for July 22, 2026.

This curation process is the culmination of a three-week business incubation program. During this period, students were equipped with technical competencies such as business model development, product innovation, branding techniques, as well as financial management and digital marketing adaptable to current market developments.

The products showcased by these aspiring young entrepreneurs are quite diverse, spanning the culinary sector, handicrafts, creative services, to digital-based innovations. Each group was required to present their business concept before a panel of curators to receive an in-depth evaluation covering product quality, pricing, and effective marketing strategies.

Dean of FEB UNISNU Jepara, Dr. H. Noor Arifin, SE, M.Si., emphasized that this activity represents the faculty's effort to create a resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem. He hopes that graduates will not only be ready to enter the workforce but also capable of creating job opportunities through startups established during their college years.

"This curation serves as a learning platform so that student products receive direct feedback from practitioners and academics. We want to ensure that every creation possesses competitive added value in the real market," said Noor Arifin.

The entire series of activities will culminate in the Business Bazaar event to be held in the courtyard of FEB UNISNU Jepara. The event is projected as an opportunity for students to conduct direct market testing while introducing their innovations to the academic community and the general public, in order to support economic growth at both regional and national levels.
