The Central Board of the Indonesian National Nurses Association (DPP PPNI) reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the quality of healthcare services by strengthening professional standards. This step was realized through the organization's active participation in discussions regarding professional values and Continuing Professional Development (PKB) initiated by the Health Council of Indonesia (KKI) on Thursday (7/9/2026).
During the meeting, DPP PPNI dispatched Tatang Sutisna, Head of the Membership Information System Department, and Muhammad Adam from the Services Department to represent the profession's interests. The presence of this delegation was crucial to ensuring that all formulated regulations support a more transparent and efficient membership system integration.
The primary focus of the discussion centered on synchronizing the PKB program with the challenges of the national health transformation era. By strengthening the competency development system, PPNI hopes nurses throughout Indonesia can maintain excellent service standards amid the rapidly evolving dynamics of the medical world.
Through synergy with KKI, DPP PPNI is committed to maintaining the professionalism of its members so they remain aligned with society's needs, while ensuring that every nurse receives systemic protection when performing their noble duties in the field.
