The Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Gunung Mas Regency, together with the local Regency Government, officially passed three draft regional regulations (Raperda) into Regional Regulations (Perda) on Monday (July 6, 2026). This agreement was reached during a solemn plenary session held in the main chamber of the Gunung Mas DPRD.
The three ratified regulations include the Perda on the Accountability of the 2025 Regional Budget (APBD) Implementation, the Perda on Guidelines for Managing Regional Property, and a DPRD-initiative Perda regarding the Empowerment of Micro Enterprises and the Development of the Creative Economy. The entire legislative process was considered orderly thanks to solid synergy between the executive and legislative branches.
Speaker of the Gunung Mas DPRD, Binartha, expressed appreciation for the smooth deliberations. According to him, the enactment of these three regulations is a crucial step in strengthening the region's legal foundation. The Budget Committee and the Regional Regulation Formation Body (Bapemperda) worked intensively with relevant agencies to ensure every point in the regulations underwent a comprehensive refinement process.
Bapemperda Spokesperson, Iceu Purnamasari, emphasized that the Perda on the Empowerment of Micro Enterprises and Creative Economy was designed as an instrument to provide tangible support for local businesses to become more competitive. At the same time, the regulation on regional property management is expected to foster more transparent, accountable, and efficient asset governance for the local government.
The passage of these three regional regulations reflects a shared commitment to improving the quality of governance in Gunung Mas. With a strong legal framework in place, regional financial management accountability and the local economic development sector are expected to function more optimally in the future.
