The Gunung Mas Regency Government officially completed the legislative deliberation phase for two key Draft Regional Regulations (Raperda) during the 4th Plenary Meeting of Session Period III in 2026, held in Kuala Kurun on Monday (7/6/2026). This agreement was marked by the signing of a joint approval report between Regent Jaya Samaya Monong and the leadership of the local DPRD.

The two agreed draft regulations include rules on the Accountability for the Implementation of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) for Fiscal Year 2025 and technical guidelines for the management of regional assets. Regent Jaya Samaya Monong emphasized that this step represents a strategic milestone toward achieving more transparent, accountable, and efficient governance.

"This approval provides a solid legal foundation for the regional government to account for budget execution. We are committed to ensuring that regional financial and asset management delivers an optimal impact on the welfare of the broader public," the Regent stated in his address.

Furthermore, the Regent expressed high appreciation to the legislative members for their synergy and dedication throughout the deliberation process. He expressed hope that the harmonious relationship between the executive and legislative branches would be maintained during the policy implementation stage in the field, ensuring regional development goals are achieved effectively.

The plenary session, chaired by the Speaker of the Gunung Mas DPRD, Binartha, was also attended by members of the Forkopimda, officials from the Regional Secretariat, and various community leaders. The documents for the two draft regulations will now be submitted immediately to the Governor of Central Kalimantan for final evaluation and facilitation before being officially enacted into regional regulations.
