PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has reaffirmed its role as a key pillar of the national economy by recording the highest dividend payout in the company's history. In the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on April 10, 2026, the company decided to distribute a cash dividend for the 2025 financial year worth IDR 52.1 trillion, equivalent to IDR 346.00 per share.
The profit distribution decision refers to the consolidated net profit achievement of 2025, which reached IDR 57.13 trillion. President Director of BRI, Hery Gunardi, stated that this achievement is the fruit of sustainable transformation and resilient business fundamentals, which are now further strengthened through Danantara's supervision to support the government's strategic development agenda.
This impressive performance continued into the first quarter of 2026. BRI recorded a net profit of IDR 15.5 trillion, growing 13.7% year-on-year (yoy). This growth was supported by credit expansion reaching IDR 1,562 trillion, as well as funding efficiency reflected in the decline in the cost of funds to 2.3%, thanks to massive digitalization through the BRImo application and Qlola platform.
Along with the 'BRIVolution Reignite' transformation and a more inclusive corporate rebranding, BRI remains committed to the people's economy. As of May 2026, the company has disbursed People's Business Credit (KUR) amounting to IDR 84.36 trillion, with a main focus on productive and agricultural sectors. Additionally, the allocation for Property Ownership Loans (KPP) was increased to IDR 12 trillion to respond to the high public demand for housing.
Synergy under Danantara also strengthens the overall BRI Group ecosystem. The contribution from subsidiaries now reaches 25.1% of the total consolidated net profit, proving the success of the company's business diversification. The Head of the SOE Regulatory Agency, Dony Oskaria, appreciated this positive performance and emphasized the importance of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) in driving downstreaming and job creation as the main drivers of national economic growth.
