The event, scheduled for the evening of July 13, 2026, will feature a mix of DJ music performances and a fireworks display, which is the main highlight of the celebration.
In addition to enjoying the entertainment, the public is also invited to take advantage of this national holiday to explore the historical and natural charm of Corbeil-Essonnes. Located southeast of Paris, the city offers various attractive destinations, ranging from historic buildings like the Saint-Spire Cathedral and the Grandes Moulins, to the beauty of green open spaces in Parc du Coudray and the iconic Sénart forest area.
The highlight of the event, a grand fireworks display, is scheduled to begin at 11:00 PM local time at the Quai Maurice Riquiez area. To ensure smooth flow and safety during the celebrations, the municipality has established strict traffic rules and parking restrictions for the public.
Authorities have announced a parking ban starting Saturday, July 11 at 8:00 AM in several locations, including Quai Maurice Riquiez, Quai Bourgoin, Quai Mauzaisse, Rue de la Pêcherie, and Rue Ferdinand Buisson. Vehicles violating these regulations will be promptly towed by local police. Furthermore, traffic access will also be closed on Quai Bourgoin and Rue Saint-Nicolas starting July 13 at 8:00 AM, with a total closure for pedestrians and vehicles in the show zone at 10:00 PM.
