Anggi Wahyuda is currently capturing public attention on social media with his extraordinary feats. As a content creator, he frequently shares adrenaline-pumping physical activities, ranging from running to climbing various mountains in Indonesia and abroad.
However, Anggi's journey is far from ordinary. He lost one of his legs in a traffic accident when he was still in high school in 2015. Since then, he has had to rely on a pair of crutches to help him walk, including when navigating extreme hiking trails.
Losing a limb initially left him spiraling into depression for two years. Anggi admits that acquiring a disability due to an accident carries a very heavy psychological toll. In addition to accepting the harsh reality and burying his dreams, he was also forced to stay strong to reassure his family and close relatives.
Refusing to give up on his circumstances, Anggi chose to rise and spread positive energy through social media. His activities conquering mountain peaks serve as tangible proof that physical limitations are not the end of everything. One of his prestigious achievements was successfully reaching the Everest Base Camp in Nepal in 2025.
Despite having set foot at the base of the world's tallest mountain, Anggi describes his climb of Mount Leuser in Aceh as the most challenging adventure he has ever undertaken. During the 12-day, 11-night journey, he had to face the real threat of the forest's predator, the Sumatran tiger.
For Anggi, his courage in facing such risks is not merely for sensation-seeking. He hopes that his success in traversing wildlife habitats despite his physical limitations can boost the confidence of both the public and the government in the abilities of people with disabilities.
