A delegation consisting of officials, lecturers, and students from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics has just completed a series of research visits and practical training at the Naval Region 4 Command of Vietnam. The visit aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of maritime defense dynamics and national strategies for maintaining sovereignty over Vietnam's territorial waters.
During the working sessions, the delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the long history and traditions of the Navy. Discussion topics included the current situation in maritime zones, the strategic policies of the Party and State in maintaining territorial integrity, and an evaluation of the crucial role played by Region 4 in fulfilling military and national security tasks over the past period.
As part of the field observation agenda, the delegation directly inspected the readiness of warships in the 162nd Brigade and visited the Linh Nguyen Pagoda to pay homage in the local spiritual park area. Additionally, the event included the presentation of souvenirs to officers and soldiers as a token of appreciation for their dedication.
Dr. Nguyen Thuy Linh, head of the delegation, expressed deep appreciation for the warm welcome from the Region 4 Command. She emphasized that this empirical field experience adds significant value for academics in understanding the complexity of maritime defense tasks, which will ultimately enrich their theoretical perspectives at the educational institution.
