BPJS Kesehatan has innovated once again to enhance healthcare accessibility by launching the Phased Payment Plan (REHAB) 3.0 program. This initiative is designed as a solution for National Health Insurance (JKN) participants facing financial constraints in settling their monthly contribution arrears.
Head of the Pasuruan Branch of BPJS Kesehatan, Kemas Rona Kurniawansyah, explained that this latest version offers far greater flexibility than previous schemes. Participants now have the freedom to choose their installment payment method, either monthly or daily. Uniquely, for daily installments, participants can set the payment amount themselves, with a minimum threshold of IDR 10,000 per day.
The program targets Non-Salaried Workers (PBPU) or independent participants, including those who have transitioned to the Salaried Workers (PPU) category but still have an arrears history of four to 24 months. Kemas added that the repayment of arrears applies to all family members registered under the same Family Card, with a maximum installment period of up to one year.
The registration process for this program is quite practical, as participants can access it through the PANDAWA WhatsApp service at 0811 8165 165 or via the features in the Mobile JKN app. Once all repayment obligations are fulfilled, the JKN active membership status will be immediately restored on the same day, allowing participants to access healthcare facilities without a waiting period.
Despite offering convenience, BPJS Kesehatan noted important conditions for participants enrolled in REHAB 3.0. During the installment period, participants are not allowed to make data changes such as upgrading inpatient care classes, adding new family members, or modifying the installment plan agreed upon during registration.
