Marquez's dominance was already evident during qualifying, where he secured his ninth career pole position at the Sachsenring while setting a new lap record. Once the race got underway, he immediately bolted ahead and shut the door on his rivals.
Alex Marquez, riding for Gresini Ducati, mounted significant pressure from second place. Further back, a fierce battle unfolded between Fabio Di Giannantonio and Ai Ogura, particularly after Ogura executed a swift maneuver at turn two to snatch third place from Di Giannantonio.
