PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) has strengthened its social commitment by handing over Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance in the form of building futsal and mini softball courts in Tuban Regency. This symbolic handover took place on the sidelines of the 10th East Java Mangrove Festival at Panduri Beach, Jenu District, Tuban, on Wednesday (29/7/2026).
The sports facility assistance was directly handed over by the President Director of Bank Jatim, Winardi Legowo, to the Regent of Tuban. This important moment was also witnessed directly by the Governor of East Java along with representatives from the local provincial and district governments.
Winardi Legowo explained that this contribution is a concrete manifestation of Bank Jatim's synergy in supporting the strategic programs of the Tuban Regency Government. The provision of these outdoor sports facilities is expected to be a positive platform for local children and adolescents to engage in healthy physical activities in preparation for the grand vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
The construction of this sports infrastructure originated from an initiative by the Tuban Regency Government, which was then realized through Bank Jatim's CSR funds. Management hopes that these new facilities can be utilized to the maximum by the public to foster a sports culture while also identifying potential young athletic talent in Tuban.
Responding to this support, the Regent of Tuban expressed deep appreciation for Bank Jatim's consistent dedication to supporting regional development. The presence of these facilities is considered very crucial in shaping the character of a healthy, happy, and productive younger generation.
