The Muhammadiyah Business Union (SUMU), through its SUMU Catalyst program, is once again driving the nation's entrepreneurship sector by holding an educational webinar titled "Build a Precious Metals Business with SilverMu & EmasMu". This discussion session was designed to introduce the great potential of the precious metals industry, which is now no longer just an investment instrument, but a promising business opportunity for the wider community.

President Director of PT Putra Surya Yogyakarta, Achmad Zani, as the main speaker, explained that the EmasMu and SilverMu ecosystems are designed to make it easier for the public to enter the precious metals industry. Through the integration of trading, branding, and manufacturing services, business actors now have the opportunity to do business without being burdened by large investments in independent production facilities.

There are five main business models offered for aspiring entrepreneurs, namely becoming an official dealer, bundling partnership programs, and contract manufacturing (maklon) services to build their own precious metal brands. These steps are deemed capable of opening up more efficient access for MSME players to rebrand gold and silver products to increase the added value of products in the national market.

Furthermore, Achmad Zani emphasized the importance of step-by-step business development, starting from sharpening concepts, human resource training, to managing licenses. This approach is expected to address the challenges of accessibility for novice entrepreneurs so they can enter the precious metals sector with an adaptive and sustainable business model.

The high enthusiasm of the participants during the discussion session showed a strong interest in product certification mechanisms and digital marketing strategies in this industry. Through this initiative, SUMU Catalyst once again proves its role as a strategic bridge that connects industry practitioners with aspiring new entrepreneurs to create a competitive and innovative economic ecosystem.
