PT Baoshuo Taman Industry Investment Group, the operator of the Indonesian industrial estate Huabao Industrial Park, successfully achieved a proud milestone by winning the 'Resilient Industrial Park Operator with Sustainable Socio-Economic Integration' award. The prestigious award was received at the Bisnis Indonesia Awards (BIA) 2026 event held at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta, on Thursday (2/7/2026).
This award is an appreciation of the company's resilience in managing industrial operations amidst global economic fluctuations, as well as its success in integrating sustainable socio-economic impacts for the community around the Morowali area, Central Sulawesi. The trophy was symbolically handed over to the Public Relations Director of Huabao Indonesia, Zheng Yong.
The panel of judges, consisting of renowned economic experts such as Raden Pardede, Eduardus Tandelilin, and Lana Soelistianingsih, assessed that Huabao Indonesia excelled in implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The company does not only focus on business performance, but also actively runs community empowerment programs, such as heavy equipment vocational training for local workers, internship scholarships, as well as the renovation of educational facilities and places of worship.
The company's commitment to environmental sustainability was also a key assessment point. Various concrete actions have been taken, including planting hundreds of mangrove seedlings in the coastal area of Kambing Island to prevent abrasion, as well as climate change education for elementary school students through the 'Huabao Goes to School' program.
Since the construction phase began, Huabao Indonesia has recorded social contributions worth more than 100 million yuan (RMB) to the surrounding community. This step reflects the company's philosophy to continue growing in harmony with local wisdom and full support for the local government's development agenda in Morowali.
