The Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General's Office (AGO), Febrie Adriansyah, has provided an official clarification regarding a search conducted by the National Police Headquarters' Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) at his residence in Sentul, Bogor. In a press conference held at the AGO Building on Friday (10/7/2026), Febrie assured that the property is a personal asset whose acquisition can be legally accounted for.
Regarding the discovery of a sum of cash during the search, Febrie stated that the funds have a clear owner and a verifiable origin. He emphasized that detailed explanations regarding the money would be submitted through appropriate legal mechanisms, while asking the public to refrain from speculating before the investigation is complete.
In addition to addressing his personal residence, Febrie also dismissed rumors linking him to a cafe business in the Cipete area, South Jakarta. He firmly denied any ownership or business involvement at that location, stating that narratives circulating on social media do not align with the facts on the ground.
Out of respect for the Indonesian National Police, Febrie stressed that the Attorney General's Office fully supports the ongoing investigation. He expressed hope that the law enforcement process would proceed professionally and transparently so that all facts could be clearly revealed to answer public concerns.
