For hikers looking to try the route via Malanggaten Hamlet, Balesari, Windusari District, access to the trailhead is quite easy. From the center of Magelang City, the location can be reached in just about a 30-minute drive, making it an ideal choice for tourists seeking a short yet memorable hike.
The main attraction of this hike lies in Puncak Merah Putih (Red and White Peak), which faces east. This location serves as the best viewpoint to witness the sunrise phenomenon. Although the hiking route requires excellent stamina, the beauty of the morning glow appearing just to the north of Mount Telomoyo at around 06:00 WIB makes every physical effort worthwhile.
