Following the return of Hajj pilgrims from Batch 19 to Tabalong Regency on Thursday, July 2, 2026, local authorities have emphasized the importance of self-health monitoring. All pilgrims are urged not to delay seeking medical checks at the nearest community health center (puskesmas) if they experience any health symptoms after their long journey from Saudi Arabia.

The Head of the Office of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) of Tabalong, Nabhan Fanshuri, stated that although 256 pilgrims arrived back in the country in generally good condition, some were noted to have experienced mild health issues such as coughs and colds. This preventive measure was taken to ensure the pilgrims' health remains stable after their worship.

"We urge pilgrims to immediately report or visit the nearest health facility, especially since they have just returned from abroad. This is crucial for the early detection of potential health issues and to provide appropriate treatment before the condition worsens," Nabhan said during the welcoming ceremony at the Tabalong Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) office yard.

Furthermore, Nabhan hoped that all pilgrims could reintegrate into the community in good health. Proactive health monitoring is expected to support the pilgrims' transition so they can resume their daily activities without significant health obstacles.
