The Sukowati Photography Community (KFS) Sragen successfully held the KFS in Harmony #2 event titled "Tradition in Modernity" at NDayu Park on Sunday (5/7/2026). The event brought together 79 photography enthusiasts from various regions who enthusiastically took part in a series of activities from morning to evening.
This event was designed as a comprehensive platform for photographers to enhance their technical skills as well as their business acumen. The committee chairman, Yoga Riyadirga Putra, explained that the concept of the event was intentionally made practical so participants could immediately apply the material provided. "We combined workshop sessions on marketing strategies and wedding photography composition with field practice using models at various designated decoration spots," said Yoga.
As the keynote speaker, professional photographer Virgianarsito provided deep insights into the wedding photography industry in the digital era. In addition to reviewing lighting and composition techniques, he emphasized the importance of building a strong portfolio and leveraging social media as an effective marketing strategy for photographers.
The vibrant atmosphere of the event was further enhanced by the support of various creative vendors, ranging from makeup artists to wedding decoration providers. This collaboration not only offered real practical experience but also served as a promotional platform for the creative industry potential and tourism destinations in Sragen, particularly NDayu Park, a favorite spot for pre-wedding photoshoots.
Yoga hopes that this event will strengthen the ties among photographers across Solo Raya and continue to grow in the future. He aims for the next edition to reach a wider audience, not only from the local region but also from various parts of Indonesia.
