PT PBM Sarana Bandar Nasional, also known as Pelni Logistics, officially provided assurances regarding job security following the consolidation of seven logistics state-owned enterprises (SOEs). The integration process officially began on Wednesday (7/1/2026), with PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (MTI) designated as the surviving entity during the transition period.

Pelni Logistics President Director, Sukendra, emphasized that the changes are primarily focused on administrative adjustments and centralizing the management reporting structure. According to him, all operational activities at each company will continue normally without any workforce reductions. This move is part of a grand vision to create a more integrated and efficient national logistics ecosystem under the guidance of Danantara Asset Management.

The seven companies involved in this merger process include PT Multi Terminal Indonesia and PT Prima Indonesia Logistik from Pelindo Group, as well as PT Pos Logistik Indonesia, PT Sarana Bandar Logistik, PT KBN Prima Logistik, PT Varia Usaha Dharma Segara, and PT Krakatau Jasa Logistik. In addition to human resources, all physical assets, including transportation fleets, will also be transferred into the holding structure under PT MTI.

During the transition scheme, PT Pelindo holds a crucial role with a 74.47% majority stake to oversee the integration process. Plans call for these shares to be transferred to PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) in 2027 as part of the roadmap for establishing a national logistics holding company. Sukendra is optimistic that this integration will strengthen the company's future operational network while enhancing the country's logistical competitiveness.
