The night atmosphere in Ringinpitu Village, Kedungwaru District, Tulungagung, looked different on Sunday (12/7/2026). Dozens of battery-powered miniature trucks equipped with modified audio systems packed the streets in a unique parade that attracted hundreds of local residents.
The event, initiated by the Ringinpitu Village Miniature Truck Community, featured around 30 miniature units with an average dimension of 130 cm x 60 cm. More than just a showcase of creativity for hobbyists, the 3-kilometer parade also served as a strategic medium to promote micro-economic activities along the route.
To guarantee security and traffic order during the parade, the Kedungwaru Police under the command of Police Commissioner AKP Karnoto conducted intensive security measures. Police personnel were deployed along the main route, starting from the front of NOBLE School to the Gaul Intersection, to ensure the event ran smoothly without disruption.
AKP Karnoto emphasized that the National Police always support positive, constructive community initiatives, as long as they comply with public order regulations. According to him, the synergy between the police and residents was the key to the success of this event, which proved capable of maintaining environmental order while providing space for local MSMEs to operate.
"Our presence is a form of commitment to ensure that every community event can be enjoyed safely and comfortably. We highly appreciate the cooperation of the committee and residents who maintained discipline during the parade, allowing the activity to run smoothly from start to finish," concluded the Police Chief.
