United States President Donald Trump recorded a significant financial achievement throughout 2025 through business expansion in the digital asset sector. According to financial disclosures submitted to the US Office of Government Ethics, Trump and his family raked in revenues of over 1.4 billion US dollars, equivalent to IDR 25.1 trillion, positioning crypto as a new backbone in the president's wealth portfolio.

The largest contribution came from the World Liberty Financial platform managed alongside his children, with total revenue reaching 800 million US dollars or IDR 14.3 trillion. This figure includes the sale of tokens and company shares. In addition, other digital assets, namely meme coins bearing Trump's name, contributed 635 million US dollars or approximately IDR 11.4 trillion. This value is recorded to have skyrocketed compared to the previous year's report.

This condition coincides with the pro-crypto policies implemented by his administration since returning to office, including the easing of regulatory oversight on the digital asset industry. This phenomenon has drawn criticism from government ethics experts. They highlighted potential conflicts of interest, given that federal policies are now deemed to have a direct correlation with the personal investment values of the head of state.

On the other hand, Trump's traditional business lines continue to show positive performance. The hospitality and golf club sector, including the flagship Mar-a-Lago property, recorded a revenue increase of up to 15 percent. Responding to the controversy, the White House, through its spokesperson, Anna Kelly, emphasized that all policies taken by the government are done solely for the benefit of the American people and denied any ethical violations or conflicts of interest in the Trump family's business transactions.
