Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Bidayatul Hidayah in Jatirejo, Mojokerto, has taken a strategic step in safeguarding the moral integrity of the younger generation by hosting a socialization event on the Prevention, Eradication, Abuse, and Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics (P4GN). The event, held on Saturday (4/7/2026), involved 373 students from various surrounding Islamic boarding schools as well as 31 educators.
This synergy was achieved through collaboration between the school, the Garda Semeru Nusantara (GSN) Foundation, the East Java Provincial National and Political Unity Agency (Bakesbangpol), and the Mojokerto Regency National Narcotics Agency (BNN). The Principal of MA Bidayatul Hidayah, Nahar Wibowo, expressed his pride in making the madrasah a pioneer in preventive educational efforts against the dangers of narcotics in an educational environment.
General Chairman of GSN, Dadang Buana, emphasized that the threat of drugs no longer discriminates based on social or economic background. He warned students to be more vigilant against new tactics targeting Generation Z, including the infiltration of illicit substances through lifestyle products such as vape liquids, as recently exposed in an international drug network arrest in Cerme, Gresik.
Echoing these sentiments, East Java Bakesbangpol representative Agus Imantoro reminded students that the nation's future lies in the hands of the youth. He urged students to be more critical in choosing their social circles and to remain focused on achieving academic excellence as a tangible contribution to defending the country.
Head of Mojokerto Regency BNN, Police Lieutenant Colonel (AKBP) Damar Bastiar Amarapit, asserted that drugs constitute an extraordinary crime on par with terrorism and corruption. In his presentation, he called on all school members to implement the '3 Dares' movement—dare to refuse, dare to report, and dare to undergo rehabilitation if exposed—to create a healthy, smart, and drug-free generation.
