The Health Office of West Sumbawa Regency is enhancing its strategic measures in an effort to reduce maternal mortality rates (MMR) and infant mortality rates (IMR). This innovation is realized by strengthening the use of the Sigap Ibu application, a digital instrument designed to monitor the health condition of pregnant women in real time and accurately.

This application enables medical personnel and relevant stakeholders to respond more quickly to the risk of complications during pregnancy through childbirth. With more efficient data integration, it is hoped that any health obstacles in the field can be detected earlier, allowing local health facilities to provide prompt and appropriate medical care.

This digitization step reflects the commitment of the West Sumbawa Regency Government to improving the quality of public health services. Through technology-based monitoring, it is expected that the health status of mothers and infants in the region will continue to improve significantly each year.
