Yogyakarta - Danurejan Police Station has taken a proactive step in maintaining the physical fitness of all its members by organizing free health screening services. The activity, which took place at the local police headquarters, was the result of a strategic collaboration with medical personnel from the nearest community health center (Puskesmas).
The health check included a series of basic screenings, ranging from blood pressure tests and blood sugar levels to general health consultations. This step is considered crucial given the high mobility and workload of police personnel in maintaining security and order in the Danurejan jurisdiction.
The Chief of Danurejan Police emphasized that the health of officers is a primary asset in delivering excellent service to the public. Personnel who are physically and mentally healthy are believed to be able to respond to every complaint and emergency situation in the field more responsively and professionally.
In addition to serving as an early detection effort for potential health issues, this activity also provides momentum for the Danurejan Police to continue building synergy with local health institutions. It is hoped that similar programs can be conducted periodically to ensure optimal personnel performance at all times.
