A strategic partnership between Auto2000 and the Astra Foundation, through the Astra Michael D. Ruslim Education Foundation (YPA-MDR), has been realized by providing two units of the Mobile Health Ambulance fleet (MOKES2000). This concrete step was taken to bridge facility limitations while expanding the reach of health services for communities in remote areas.
The two MOKES2000 units are specifically allocated for the Lebak Regency area in Banten and the East Manggarai Regency area in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The handover ceremony for these medical operational vehicles was held at the Auto2000 Head Office before they are officially distributed to their respective local governments.
Chief Executive of Auto2000, Anton Jimmi Suwandy, expressed his hope that this medical facility assistance could be utilized optimally by the local governments. According to him, the presence of these ambulances is crucial to speed up emergency medical responses and reach remote villages that have previously had limited transportation access.
This cross-sector collaborative program also reinforces Auto2000's ongoing commitment to supporting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, which is to ensure Good Health and Well-being. This humanitarian step is an integral part of the Community Development pillar within the broader framework of the Astra 2030 Sustainability Aspirations.
