Vice Regent of Gunung Mas, Efrensia L.P. Umbing, directly led the assistance agenda for the maturity assessment of the Implementation of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP), held at the Gunung Mas Regent's Office on Wednesday (8/7/2026). This step was taken as a regional preparation strategy ahead of the official assessment by the Financial and Development Supervisory Board (BPKP) of Central Kalimantan Province scheduled for September 2026.
This assistance activity focused on equipping all regional government units with a deep understanding of the assessment indicators. In addition, each work unit was requested to conduct a self-evaluation and ensure that all supporting documents are available completely and accurately as part of the assessment requirements.
In her directive, Efrensia emphasized that achieving the SPIP maturity target is a collective responsibility of all regional agency organizations, not merely a sectoral task of the Inspectorate. She encouraged strong synergy between departments to build a more solid internal control culture within the local government environment.
Through the strengthening of the internal control system, the Gunung Mas Regency Government is committed to achieving more effective, transparent, and accountable governance. This effort is believed to be an important foundation in supporting the successful achievement of sustainable regional development targets.
The agenda was also attended by Regional Secretary Richard, Regency Inspector Barthel, as well as leaders and planning officials from all regional agencies within Gunung Mas Regency.
