The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) took part in the 2026 DKI Jakarta Governor's Cup Tennis Tournament held at the Borobudur Hotel Tennis Court, Jakarta, on Saturday (1/8/2026). This participation serves as an important momentum to strengthen collaboration and informal communication between government institutions and state-owned enterprises.

The Expert Staff for Information Technology of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Dwi Budi Martono, who also played in the tournament, expressed that this competition has a positive impact off the court. According to him, interactions in the sports arena greatly help break down bureaucratic barriers, thereby facilitating formal coordination regarding daily work between ministries and agencies.

This team tournament, specifically for civil servants, state-owned enterprises, and regional-owned enterprises, was held over two days, August 1-2, 2026, involving 16 teams from various institutions. Competing in the executive doubles, competitive mixed doubles, and combined age group (KU) 85 doubles categories, the ATR/BPN Team, reinforced by representatives from central and regional work units, had to face tough opponents in the group stage, including the Jakarta DKI Provincial Government, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), and BPJS.

The event was officially opened by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, through a ceremonial first serve. Meanwhile, the General Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Board of Pelti (Indonesian Tennis Association), Hari Nugroho, added that this event also serves as a means of selection and early preparation for the upcoming KORPRI Sports Week to be held in 2027.
