The Central Java Provincial Government continues to expand the reach of healthcare services through the Speling Program, which has now arrived to serve the community in Banyumas Regency. This initiative received special attention from the Vice Governor of Central Java, Taj Yasin Maimoen, who directly inspected the health examinations at the NU Medika Cilongok Clinic.
During his visit, Taj Yasin monitored various facilities provided, ranging from general clinics, dental clinics, to laboratory checks such as blood sugar and cholesterol levels. The program involves synergy between regional medical staff and specialist doctors from RSUD Prof. Margono Soekarjo to provide hospital-grade service quality directly at the sub-district level.
Taj Yasin emphasized that the essence of the Speling Program is to cut bureaucracy and travel distance for residents requiring specialist medical care. By bringing services directly to remote areas, it is hoped that the public can access quality healthcare without being burdened by transportation costs or expensive examination fees.
According to Central Java Health Office records as of June 24, 2026, this program has achieved significant milestones, reaching 1,310 villages and serving over 109,000 residents since its launch. Public enthusiasm was evident, as expressed by Naimatul, a resident who felt greatly helped by the free chest X-ray service provided through this program.
In addition to monitoring the program's implementation, Taj Yasin also expressed appreciation to the NU Medika Cilongok Clinic. He hopes that the healthcare facility will continue to innovate in improving service quality to effectively respond to the increasingly dynamic and growing medical needs of residents in the future.
