In order to enliven the celebration of the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, CV Sumber Batu took the initiative to hold a sports tournament titled “Maraginda Hakim Cup I”. This competition will be centered at the Reclamation Area Field, Saba Arambir, Kotanopan District, Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra.
The owner of CV Sumber Batu, Maraginda Hakim Nasution, stated that this activity was designed as a development platform for young athletes in the Kotanopan Lama region and Muara Sipongi District. Beyond honing skills, the tournament is expected to strengthen community bonds through a high spirit of sportsmanship and togetherness.
The tournament features several popular sports branches, including mini soccer for elementary to high school levels, volleyball for junior high and high school levels, and an open cycling race. As a token of appreciation for achievements, the committee has prepared trophies and development funds for first to fourth-place winners.
For prospective participants—whether from schools, clubs, or individuals—registration is open from July 13 to July 25, 2026. Meanwhile, the opening ceremony of the tournament is scheduled to take place on August 3, 2026. Maraginda Hakim Nasution emphasized that this event represents a real contribution to fostering patriotism among the younger generation.
