Bank Sampoerna officially greeted the residents of Medan through the Sampoerna Fest held at the Lotte Grosir Field. Carrying the concept of edutainment, this festival serves as a strategic platform for the bank to connect with the public while educating them on the digital financial services ecosystem.

Finance & Business Planning Director of Bank Sampoerna, Henky Suryaputra, emphasized the importance of financial literacy as the main foundation for wise financial decision-making. According to him, a good understanding of digital services, such as Sampoerna Mobile Banking, can assist the public in managing daily finances as well as future planning such as investments and savings.

On the same occasion, Lending & Fintech Product & Partnership Division Head of Bank Sampoerna, Oktavia Laksmi Wardani, explained that the bank continues to strengthen collaborations with strategic partners such as peer-to-peer lending fintechs and cooperatives. This step aims to expand financial inclusion, particularly for MSME actors who are the main focus of Bank Sampoerna's financing distribution.

As part of an inclusive education effort, Bank Sampoerna partnered with the Student Executive Board (BEM) of Universitas Sumatera Utara as financial literacy agents. This collaboration is expected to reach a broader segment of society through sustainable education programs. As of March 2026, this strategy proved effective, driving Third-Party Funds (DPK) growth to reach IDR 15 trillion.

In addition to education, visitors were entertained by high-quality performances from prominent national musicians such as Mahalini, Sal Priadi, Pamungkas, and Last Child. The event series, supported by strategic partners including Bank Indonesia and Jaringan Prima, also featured a culinary bazaar and various interactive games, adding to the festive atmosphere in Medan City.
