The South Kalimantan Provincial Government, through the Communication and Information Technology Office (Diskominfo), has officially established a strategic partnership with the Indonesian University of Digital Technology (UTDI). This step was taken to address the dynamics of rapid digital transformation and to strengthen the cybersecurity defense system within the local government.
Head of Diskominfo Kalsel, Muhammad Muslim, stated that this collaboration serves as an important bridge for transferring knowledge and practical experience between the bureaucracy and academia. This cooperation is expected to foster new innovations to support safer and more efficient public services.
In addition to knowledge transfer, this partnership opens opportunities for UTDI students to undergo internship programs within Diskominfo Kalsel. During their internships, students will be directly involved in various strategic programs, including digital literacy education for the general public.
The agreed memorandum of understanding covers the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which includes the education, research, and community service sectors in the South Kalimantan region. Through this synergy, the South Kalimantan Provincial Government is optimistic about building a resilient, innovative, and sustainable digital ecosystem.
