Gelora Bung Tomo (GBT) Stadium in Surabaya has officially been entrusted as one of the main venues for the 2026 President's Cup pre-season tournament. This prestigious football competition is scheduled to run from July 25 to August 6, 2026.

The decision was announced by the PSSI on Monday (6/7/2026). In addition to GBT, the national football federation also designated the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, located in Soreang, Bandung, as the co-hosting venue for the event.

The eighth edition of the President's Cup will feature eight contestants, consisting of five top-tier Indonesian League clubs, namely Persib Bandung, Persebaya Surabaya, Persija Jakarta, Arema FC, and PSMS Medan. The competition is guaranteed to be highly competitive with the participation of three guest clubs from abroad: Tampines Rovers FC from Singapore, DPMM FC from Brunei Darussalam, and Port FC representing Thailand.

All participating teams will be divided into two different groups in a group stage format. In total, the tournament will present 16 intensive matches for local football fans who wish to watch their favorite clubs' preparation before entering the regular competition season.
