Starting the week's trading on Monday (6/7/2026), the resale or buyback price of gold bars from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. (ANTM) was observed to be unchanged. The precious metal produced by Antam is still priced at IDR 2,429,000 per gram.
According to official information from the Logam Mulia website, this price applies uniformly to all denominations of LBMA-certified gold bars issued by the company. This price consistency serves as a reference for investors wishing to liquidate their gold assets amid global market fluctuations.
In the buyback transaction mechanism, customers need to note that the price received may be below the current selling price. However, profit opportunities remain wide open if there is a significant price difference between the initial purchase and the current resale price.
Regarding tax obligations, every buyback transaction with a nominal value above IDR 10 million will be subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22. For NPWP (taxpayer identification number) holders, the applicable tax rate is 1.5 percent, while non-NPWP holders are charged a rate of 3 percent. This tax deduction will be automatically deducted from the total value of the buyback transaction received by the customer.
In addition, following the implementation of Minister of Finance Regulation Number 112/PMK.03/2022, the National Identity Number (NIK) has now officially functioned as the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) for individual taxpayers. Therefore, Antam requires every customer to ensure the completeness and accuracy of their personal identity data before conducting transactions at Logam Mulia outlets.
