PT Rans Entertainmen Indonesia Tbk is currently in the spotlight among capital market players following its strategic move to launch an initial public offering (IPO). Leveraging a massive digital follower base totaling 155 million followers across various platforms, the company founded by celebrity couple Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina seeks to transform itself into an integrated Intellectual Property (IP)-based entertainment giant.
Amid rapid internet penetration in Indonesia, RANS recognizes the importance of revenue diversification beyond conventional business models such as advertising and celebrity endorsements. This strategic step is being realized through the development of new business lines, including consumer products and a family tourism destination project titled 'Cipungland'. These efforts are crucial to balancing the company's financial performance after recording revenue of IDR 353.4 billion in fiscal year 2025.
In this corporate action, the company is offering 2.525 billion new shares with a price range of IDR 135 to IDR 170 per share. The target fund raising of IDR 429 billion has been specifically allocated to drive long-term growth, including 37.61 percent for concert funding, 19.80 percent for acquisitions in the cosmetics sector, and 18.64 percent for the development of Cipungland.
In addition to the entertainment sector, the company is also branching into technology by allocating approximately 8.15 percent of the IPO proceeds for investment in an artificial intelligence (AI)-based joint venture. Despite recording a premium valuation, RANS management is considered to maintain sufficient financial flexibility with a low leverage ratio, providing room for business expansion amid dynamic market challenges.
