PANDEGLANG – As a concrete manifestation of community service, Group 67 of the Student Community Service (KKM) from Bina Bangsa University (UNIBA) held a Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) education program for students at SDN Gunung Putri, Banjar District, Pandeglang Regency. The activity, which took place in late July, focused on the importance of maintaining personal hygiene, especially oral and dental health from an early age.

The health education was delivered interactively by one of the student representatives, Muhammad Hafizh Raihan. Through engaging and easy-to-understand visualizations, the children were taught the steps of brushing teeth properly to prevent germ buildup and oral diseases. The students appeared very enthusiastic in following every instruction and demonstration.

During the socialization, the learning atmosphere was made active and fun with interactive Q&A sessions. Intensive guidance from the KKM students made the children more confident in participating and asking questions directly. Besides being a means to build clean habits in children, this program is also a tangible implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the field of community service.

This educational activity concluded with a group photo session involving the students, teachers, and all pupils of SDN Gunung Putri. Through this initiative, the UNIBA academic community hopes that the clean living habits taught will continue to be practiced sustainably, both at school and at home, to support optimal child growth and development.
