To support a smooth teaching and learning process through optimal physical conditions for students, MTs Negeri 2 Mesuji, in collaboration with the Adi Luhur UPTD Community Health Center, organized a free health screening program on Tuesday (4/8/2026). This activity, centered within the madrasah environment, represents a concrete step by the school to regularly monitor the growth and physical well-being of the students.
Hundreds of students enthusiastically and orderly participated in this health screening. The medical team focused the examinations on several vital indicators, including blood pressure measurement, weight checks, and height measurements to calculate the Body Mass Index (BMI) in order to evaluate the students' nutritional status.
In addition to basic physical detection, the program also included blood sugar level checks to anticipate metabolic disorders from an early age. The medical team also conducted vision acuity tests to detect potential nearsightedness, which often hinders students' concentration in class. During the checks, students were also given brief education on implementing a Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) in the school environment.
This strategic collaboration giant steps MTsN 2 Mesuji's commitment to focusing not only on academic and religious achievements, but also on the physical health of its students. This regular program is expected to be an effective means of early detection to create a healthy, safe, and conducive learning environment for all students.
