A proud achievement was once again recorded by karate athletes trained by the Headquarters Detachment (Denma) of the Quick Action Forces Command (Korpasgat). In the prestigious 2026 Kasau Cup Karate National Championship (Kejurnas) held at the Velodrome Sports Hall, Rawamangun, Jakarta, Korpasgat soldiers successfully proved their capabilities in the national martial arts arena.
This success is a tangible reflection of Korpasgat's commitment to implementing sustainable martial arts training programs. Not only are they proficient in carrying out their primary duties as soldiers, but they also demonstrate high competitiveness in achieving success in competitive sports.
Three soldiers managed to step onto the podium at the event. Sergeant Second Class (Serda) Muh. Dzaki recorded a double achievement by winning 3rd place in the Men's U-21 -60 kg Kumite and 2nd place in the Men's TNI/POLRI -60 kg Kumite category. Additionally, Private Second Class (Prada) Dimas Surya Pratama won 2nd place in the Men's Senior -60 kg Kumite, followed by Private Second Class (Prada) Arkianus Saputra Bulu, who also successfully took 2nd place in the Men's Senior -55 kg Kumite.
Commander of Denma Korpasgat, Colonel Pas M. Junaedi, S.H., M.M., expressed his pride in these accomplishments. According to him, this success is the fruit of discipline and an unyielding spirit forged within the unit.
Furthermore, Colonel Pas M. Junaedi hopes that this achievement will serve as a motivational trigger for all other Korpasgat soldiers to continue honing their potential. This achievement is also projected as an evaluation benchmark for future karate sports training, in order to continue making positive contributions to bringing honor to the unit and the nation at higher levels.
